Bloom Strength

We had a diagnostic exam last Thursday and all I can say is that
"WHAT KIND OF JEST WAS THAT?"
Amidst the Amalayer nuisance, Amalayer if I say I am ready for the Board exam which will be on June next year because I really am not.... yet. I have decided that I will not go back to my part-time job as I felt pharmacy-related had a prior claim for my attention this time.

We started our "review" for the board exam today (Drug Delivery & Manufacturing), as part of our curriculum. Those subjects that took us one semester were brought back for a few hours. But I  am praying that everything will go well. By that, I mean "Discipline, self". I'm in dire need of my own cGMP (Current Good Management Practice) on my workloads. Should there be any hustles, I'm hoping that the remaining seven months will not be wasted.

Our reviewer told us that answering the board exam has to be:
70% aral, 20% dasal & 10% swerte.
But as for me, it should be 90% Aral, 10% Swerte ALL OVER Dasal.
Because Faith should be the ground in everything.

After the first day of our review, we planned to watch Breaking Dawn 2 (which I believed almost everyone were loathing about it. *sarcasm*)  yet decided to eat out at Outback Grill instead of watching the movie because the theatre is evidently crowded and i am not a fan of those vampires. I love the place plus the Firedance. After how many days of eating crappy foods, I had a  moment devouring over baby back ribs. Food are like glidants - my life's flow activators.

If you're confused with the title of this post, Bloom Strength is the measure of gelatin capsule's rigidity. I find the term fancy.
More subjects tomorrow! I am putting up my own Bloom Strength!
Pray for me. Bonne nuit!

First week of my last Semester

I still couldn't find a profound way to express how grateful i am to reach this far. Graduation is fast approaching. The future is one step closer and all I could do now is enjoy every remaining days in college and make memories.

Last semester was really an exhausting and busy-scheduled one. And unlike now, we have very long breaks in between classes. Imagine, 3 to 5 hours waiting for another subject? I don't like it. It succumbs the laziness in me. Mondays and fridays are my official bum days. I only have one class on Mondays and it's 7:30 to 9:00 am, the effort to wake up early. Fridays has no class and that makes me want to get back to Hollywood Burger.

I only have four subjects- Clinical Pharmacy, Clinical Toxicology, Mktg and Entrep and French. I don't have feelings for French. Neither love nor hate. I still can remember when I was still on my freshman year, they said that we could choose any foreign language - French, Mandarin or Spanish. I don't know why it isn't followed. Seriously, I'd rather choose Spanish if only we had a choice like what we expected. Oh well, might as well get used to speaking Bon jour!

I finished reading Looking For Alaska and Rich Dad, Poor Dad. I could say I'm hooked to John Green's and inspirational books. The latter was about business and money. Guess who just realized that money shouldn't be wasted on unnecessary things? Yes, me. I am still appalled with happiness to see new books at our school's library. I can't wait to borrow them and drown myself, reading. Should I not forget to review also in advance for our Board exams. Lol

The lower left- carving of someone i don't know.
I just found it on my arm chair during Clinical Toxicology class.

I promise myself to not eat too much. You know, graduating students should be fit. But not on the first week. First week was cheat week!

And lastly, we celebrated my Bestfriend's Twenteenth Birthday!
She cried over my for-a-frustrated-painter gift! :)

Hoping the best on the last days of my College year! Congratulations in advance, self!

The Sunsetter

One late afternoon, I was on a ride going down the city, amazed by the picturesque sky. "Spend a day with me", you saying this, i imagined. We saw each other for the first time. We walked and had an aimless talk. We'd gone to the rooftop. You took me a photograph just as i want to take one of you. I saw the entire city from up above. Airplanes passed by the sky. I haven't counted them. We witnessed the sun as it sets, just as what I have imagined to be with you watching. "This is one of the moments I wish would last forever", I told myself. The sun and the moon, we saw them together, like us. Guess you just had spent a day with me. I will remember you every time the sky turns magenta. So, surprise! Everyday, I will remember you.

Sembreak 2012

As much as I would like to rant every awesome things I had during my Manufacturing Internship, I can't because first, time was crappy and second, i'm lazy. To some up all I have been into, I am typing all of what I want to blab about that almost-a-month experience.

We went to Manila last October 4 and I just got home last 31st. So I was in Antipolo every weekdays and go down to Mnl every weekends. My duty was uh-okay. I met a lot of people-  made friends with them, shared humor and together, killing the time to work. I don't have much to talk about the laboratory which I'd been assigned because seriously, I am jealous of what my other fellow batchmates can undergo in some laboratories. Anyhow, I am thankful to God that we finished the needed hours. But gosh, I miss Antipolo! I love leaving that place every weekend, being at the peak, witnessing the interesting view at the bottom of it. Buildings! How I love buildings! It makes me giggle seeing it with the sunset.

Now, I know how important and fun it is to meet with good old friends, reminiscing good old times and talking about future plans. I miss conversations like that because you know recently at school, we talk about assignments, quizzes, thesis, defense, ugh. So i think that was a good break for me. You really don't know guys how I am seem to be like Dora. I'd gone in different places every weekends with different friends. (talking about friends for keeps)

Though I am not much familiar with the places I've been into, i don't know why I am not scared of getting lost. It makes me wanna discover places and devour over foods I can have.

I miss the train rides. Though sometimes it's too crowded.
I miss long walks.
I miss eating greasy foods.
I miss cooking for my co-interns and doing laundry with them.
I miss polishing and blistering capsules.

But most of all, I miss you.

Something for Someone

I still can remember that day when i'm entering my first year in high school when me and my parents had a heart-to-heart talk. They taught my young intuition about relationships - you know the stuff like the moral of the story is boy loves girl. Prior to that, they told me that I'm only allowed to have a boyfriend when I reach fourth year college; 4th year, 2nd semester to be exact. Sadly, i'm not that perfect kind of girl who is always obedient to her parents because honestly, because i'm too pretty not to notice, I had those it-must-have-been-love friendships on a fast pace which goes to show that it were not just the one. Anyway, who would have thought that time flies faster than we thought? Look at me now, i'm now a college senior. Realizing that it is now October, done with our final examinations for the first semester, i'm asking myself. .. When is the right time? If not now, when?

Isn't it lovely if you have someone who cares about you? Someone whom you can tell everything to. Someone you can just update to what's going through your day like he is your twitter turned into a persona. Someone who could just pull all night to talk to you about random things. Someone who shares his playlist with you. Someone who walks you home. Someone who can be your study-buddy. Someone who could afford to tell you everything he wants in the future, future together with you. Someone who blogs about you. Someone who plays the guitar and sing a song with you. Someone you could be with in waiting for the sun to set. Someone you could be with when you travel. Someone who sits with you on a bench in the park laughing at other people. Someone who cooks for you. Someone who can dance off his feet even though he's not a dancer yet dances because he knows you want him to. Someone who tops off your skills in dancing, if he's a dancer. Someone who swims with you no matter how many laps. Someone who will watch movie with you just because your favorite actor was there. Someone who makes you his tweet-reason. Someone who'll get a tattoo, may it only be a henna, with your name. Someone who makes every little thing lovely. Someone who appreciates everything that you do. Someone who can give you meaningful hugs. Someone who's in for a lifetime hand-holding. Someone you can wear couple shirts with. Someone who wants to do skydive with you. Someone who is fun to be with. Someone who will always get your humor. Someone whose life's indication is to be loved by you. Someone who can defend you like defending a thesis study. Someone who could prove that you deserve the best love in the world. Someone who prays for you. Someone who loves God more than everything else. Someone who likes, wants, need and love someone like me. Someone who is worth the wait.

P.S.
I'm dying to meet you! <3
Someday, we will read this together then
I'll give you one big tight hug and a kiss on a cheek, love!

I want my Mommy back

That's it, our Action movie title for Humanities 100- you just don't know how much time and effort I and my classmates are putting on with this minor subject. If you'll get to read our title first, i bet one song was popping on your mind. "The Show by Lenka", exactly. Anyway, here's the summary of the story:

"There's one small happy family. A Husband and a wife together with their two daughters.
The family owns a company and there's this one guy who was jealous because his company is weaker than theirs. Deals were down because of that successful business which made him angry to the point that he killed the wife/mother of the family i have first mentioned. And not just that, he kidnapped the father and took his place in everything, to his company and even in his family. How did he took his place? He undergo a surgery to copy the face of the man he has been hating. But the two girls has been on a wide range of suspicions. And the elder daughter (WHICH WAS ME) tend to discover that me and my sister had been with a wrong father. I kept on investigating and finding my father. To cut the story short, I managed to save my father, which was the real one, and I killed the bad man. After all and to have this happy-ever-after ending, there's this one woman that my sister and my dad encountered and looked exactly like my Mom in the movie."
(Guess that was one big happy ending for a movie made by amateurs.)

That was it. Almost a month of shooting scenes in different places, we finally finished everything. I have scenes which made me an action star for a while. By far, my favorite was when the bad man had his gun infront of my face and i kicked the gun away. That idea was superb which just came out of the blue. I'm glad everything has been done with the movie.

We still have gospel choir, theater accent and another song for the whole class to memorize and for the whole Pharmacy Fourth Years to have a face-off on September 19. Wishing all the best For Pharmacy 4B Batch 2012. I hope we'll win! <3

will be showing in theaters ROOMwide. lol

PS. I left my job at Hollywood Burgers for final's sake. God has His way of showing His wondeful Kingship above everything else. Indeed, He's God of precision, accuracy and perfect timing! Just when my heart broke because i haven't been picked for swimming, news scattered that our Final examinations will be during our intramurals. Amazing God is amazing. Now i know that everything has its reason. I couldn't fathom His greatness through words. Thank You, Jesus! By the way, I just had my last pay this morning at Hollywood! I will miss everything, the variety of customers, the making of milkshakes, the unlimited drinks and food at the bar and the days where I'm giving off sweat. I will be at Luzon for sembreak. I'm still saving up more money! Did i mention that my God is also a great provider? <3

Hollywood

What comes first into your mind when you hear Hollywood? If i were to ask, i would answer BURGERS. Hello guys! Before everything else, please like this page: http://www.facebook.com/HollywoodBurgerDavao

I am writing about Hollywood Burgers because i just got my second salary. Yes, you read that right. .. I'm working on a part-time job aside from identitee. Just incase you didn't know, I'm a waitress. *wink*

My idea of being one just came out of the blue when, one typical wednesday, me and my friends were eating in the said American diner. Since way back, I've been wanting to work on a coffeeshop or what because i find it cool watching flicks wherein the characters were attending school and at the same time has their part-time job. I'm also amazed to some of the people i've known, who were now outside the country, earning some bucks as for them working at McDonald's. It's just that seeing them such as if they're having fun.

Back to my story, I asked the waitress there if I could apply to be one of them. At first, she laughed at me because she thought i'm just joking. (Well, i am but it seems paradoxical) She told me I can pass my resume and have my interview. I have this guts wanting to grab that opportunity since I don't have class every Mondays and Tuesdays. What is good about that day is that when we were dining-in, the owner was also there. I bought one biodata application form, signed it and after an hour handed it to the owner and had my interview. He asked me why did i want to work and I answered "As a Pharmacy student, blah blah blah"... ..

For the first time, I heard the words "Congratulations, you are hired! You can start on monday!". And to tell you frankly, it was a blessing! Having this job is such a blast for me. I'm earning experiences which gets me to MORE appreciate things in life.

1.TIME. Unlike in school, it is okay to be late. But at work, Nah-uh! Plus time-management with your studies and all other things i am into like the other business i have, TIRING.

2. MONEY. Money never hugs back. Nothing's more fulfilling than spending something from your own sweat.

3. PATIENCE. It is not easy to face different people and telling them what burger suits their taste buds, buddy. Not also easy to give off flyers and telling them "Try Hollywood Burgers". Not also easy to be with monsterpous supervisors and curious co-workers.

4. OTHERS. I now know how to mop the floor properly. And also, how to make milkshakes and be reminded to cut my nails because i'm on duty. Hihi

One day, I will leave this work but i will forever cherish this. College days are running out and i'm making the most out of it. This is one of those things i will remember someday and one of the topic i will tell my kids. I just love to work. Working on my own ways, weird but cool ways, indeed. Someday, i will reap off something. I know there's the value of hardwork and i'm still figuring that out! :)
