Recommended, finally.

FINALLY. AT LAST. AFTER A LONG TIME, NR no more, bypassing conditional, to recommended!
Oh how good it is to experience being redeemed from a heartbreak that pharmacy life has brought me. Those days, even nights, that you cannot comprehend emotions that you're feeling (Just like John Mayer sung "When you're dreaming with a broken heart, waking up is the hardest part" Hehehe) are now being compensated by the joy that is unfathomable. Got the result of the latest mock board exam and I should say, it uplifts the spirit in me! Thank You Lord for the good score. Indeed, You are my confidence. All of these are by You, from You, through You and with You. Claiming my RPh-tail already!

2 Corinthians 3: 4-5
"Such confidence as this is ours through Christ before God. Not that we are competent in ourselves to claim anything for ourselves, but our competence comes from God."

Filed everything for PRC. Again, thank You Lord for there's nothing wrong with the life that i used to know Lol. OKAY GUIA, STUDDDYYYYY!!!!!

Where Erythromycin was discovered

A month, I've gone to the city of Iloilo.
TIt was really overwhelming to remember one of  My heart's desires for this year and it really happened - to TRAVEL, unexpectably. Oh how God works through other people. Hihihi
TRAVEL FOR FREE. FREE. FREE. KAKAO TALK. JOKE.
So this is where Erythromycin was discovered, aka Ilotycin with brand name Ilosone. Used for Opthalmia neonatorium and Penicillin allergy, a macrolide. Bow.

I'd always known that my roots were here and it actually felt like home.

And now, I am back to the actual review for my board exam. And it was way way better than reviewing for the supposed-to-be-June board exam. I've been earnestly praying since i started self-reviewing that may the Lord give me delight in all that I am studying, memorizing, analyzing and solving. Pharmacy was not easy. And Pharmacy will never ever be easy but I know I can do it. Apart from Him, I can do nothing. So yes, Lord, we can do it!  :)

So shout out to all atoms becoming molecules, carbons, functional groups, elements, drugs with its constituents, reagents, apparatuses, worms, diseases, drugs of choice, side effects and contraindications and everything else and whoever else that comprises the Pharmacy World, Philippians 1:3 (I thank God everytime i remember you)

Anyway, Congratulations to my one and only girl bestesest friend, CHIQUI TENECIO, whom we visited last month and who recently passed the CPA board exam. We knew it because we prayed for it! Bringing back all the glory and honor to Jesus that made all those things possible :)

My Nutella Gelato Story

Who among you have watched Despicable Me 2 and, perhaps, remembered that scene when one mobile ice cream car appeared then one minion shouted "GELATO!", saying it in the cutest way possible? :)

"Gelato is the italian name for an ice cream based on an egg custard mixture."

Here's the thing: Brace yourselves for I have made my own Nutella Gelato! You read that right!!! Okay, actually not my own, i just followed from some cookbook entitled The Food of Italy: A journey for foodlovers that i rummaged at our mini-library. Do you know that feeling when you want to try out cooking all the recipes found therein but you just can't because 1.The ingredients are expensive; 2. Ingredients are not usually found in the supermarket at your place; 3. You're a frustrated chef/cook. :(

As I flipped through pages, my heart was strucked when I saw how to make a gelato, which I think by far the easiest of all the recipes in the said book. I really really really love Nutella, to the point that you cannot fool me with other nutella-like brands that are available out there. Nah-aaahh. Those impostors, fakers and posers of my love. How dare you!! I really don't care if I carry my bag having 1kg of Nutella in it. Hahahaha! yes, 1 kilogram or 2.2 pounds!

Here are some pictures of Nutella Gelato

                                             Are you drooling now? =P

For your information, those photos above are not mine. All from the internet!
The sad part of my Nutella Gelato story:  No matter how perfectly you follow the instructions in the cookbook, your food will just turn out looking and tasting horrendous. But hey, Nutella saves!! It's an exception to that punchline.

MY OWN NUTELLA GELATO, LADIES AND GENTLEMEN....

Life of an NR

Days after graduation was one of the busiest. Yes, after graduation.... If you've been reading my blog (Ang feeling ko naman hahaha), maybe you've come to know the plans that I had. But some things have happened, not according to my plans. But I believe there's something God is preparing. Jeremiah 29:11 "I know the plans I have for You, says the Lord. Plans to prosper you not to harm you. Plans to give you hope and a future". I know His plans are way better than mine. I'm not going to elaborate what happened because the story is too long and stressful to think about. What is important is that people who are close to my heart knows this and I thank God for them; people who makes me feel loved and embraces me when I just need someone to.  >:D<

To quote from the song of Pink Just give me a Reason "I'm not broken, just bent".

I'm going to take my board exam on January 2014! Period. Pray with me! :)

Anyway, June was the first taste of  a real summer. Rest days. Stress-free days. Days that I've been longing for since I entered college. Days when you don't need to think about any exam, quizzes, requirements. (oh, the life of a graduate!)

Because we are to take the board exam next year (Lord, should I be lazy in the next months, give me strength to fight the laziness!!), we have gone to some place where relaxation is a perk. I haven't spent any centavo, so yeaaaah, another perk. Here are some of the pictures at Playa Azaleya, Samal Island. Beautiful place i tell you! <3 div="">

our messy table. sorry.

That's it. I'm ready for a clean slate.
January 2014. Mark that date.

My College Graduation Day

I had this one conversation with a friend who asked me "Why do you blog?"
One of the reason why I am doing this is that I am able to type significant and gist words that has happened to me. And guess what.... ... this day has been one of those significant happenings.

I woke up past 8 in the morning and as I open my eyes, I felt a mini heart attack. ... for the first thing I thought was that I'm already late! Hahahaha Calm down, my graduation starts at 12:30pm. I haven't set my clock to alarm me or any possible thing to wake me up (because in my whole, or maybe half, college life, i would just turn it off and i tell you, it's useless).

To cut the story short, I am not late. Yehey. I didn't graduate with flying colors yet I graduated with colored hair. Booooooo. Goodbye, school rules! I may not have any award but I have my whole family with me plus my aunt, uncle, cousin, grandmother and grandfather. Biggest delegation Award!! Thank You Lord for putting me into a family who is supportive in all levels! The gifts I have received is only a freebie compared to the love I am always given. Thank you also to my relatives who are million miles away from us. Though you are not here, I know you were all with me in Spirit! :')

To conclude, this day has been a Hug Day! I love all those people whom I hugged and kissed and had a picture of. Ehem ehem, aking crush!!! Hahahaha

Anyway, if you, yes you who are reading this happen to open this post, I would like to grab this opportunity to request you to pray for me for my next challenge in life: Pharmacy Board Exams. I have a lot of feelings now. Idk anymore. I'm working on it. But, if you do so, thank you in advance! :*

Outfit of the day!
