Reasonable Certainty

If there is someone who is beyond sensible which cannot be doubted, that must be the Lord Jesus Christ. His greatness, mercy, love, grace and timing is very very very very very (yes, very) favouring! My hands are itching to post this post because someone might be able to read this and maaaaaan, I just want you to know that my heart is joyfully crying. As I finished my graduation application and paid the last tuition in my institution, I can feel the victor in me. GRABE, ANG AWESOME NI LORD!!!

Honestly, I may not be able to have reached or be able to finish Pharmacy course, or my whole college life without Him. His provisions are just very timely. The peace I always have before taking an exam are just so wonderful. Amidst pressure that are hovering a situation, I silently pray and after that Voila, there is peace! Indescribable God!

I also thank God for my parents, who have given me nonstop support in all part of this, who are always reminding me to "Let Jesus be the center of my life". They are the second best gift God has given next to the gift of life. Love you guys!

Before I summon my notes to let them study themselves be studied,  I just want to share a song (which I can meditate with) that moves me to make this on top of my playlist and on repeat by my vocal chords.

I Will Rise by Chris Tomlin

I CAN SAY "IT IS WELL!"
JESUS HAS OVERCOOOOOOME!
THE VICTORY IS WON!

Letter of any Intent

Dear Ate Guia NOOOOOOO!

Hello there! We'll be having our retreat on February 21, 2013.Write me a letter, will ya?
I really don't know what a retreat letter should contain because I haven't been into this when I was in elementary or even highschool. So if you have anything you want to say to me, write it. I would love to read it. I will not beg or plead, I will just say "Letter!", because letters shouldn't be forcefully written. It has a power to make or break someone - as for making that receiver a whole new one!

If you're, by any chance, my schoolmate or a friend of a friend, you can stop by at our retreat box/board outside the bookstore. But if there's no any other way, you can send me via e-mail: guiafdls@gmail.com

Love lots!

"Bon voyage!" by the cool nerds

The pictures below were the outcome of our class' randomness during our retreat photoshoot. This is an affirmation that IT'S MORE FUN IN PHARMACY. I would like to share a story my mind has made up with the photos we had. So, care to read?

Once upon a time, there were two girls who doesn't have any other friends. Their friendship has been into exclusivity.
One day, they decided to go on a trip and decided to see each other on a planned day.

The day has finally come! One of them arrived earlier at the meeting place.

The other friend has finally arrived. Their trip begun. Yes, they can fly.

They go on along walk, because they were cool, remember?

On their trip, they passed by on some people. One of them likes to befriend some.

And so they decided to invite some people to join their trip.

The two girls won not just one friend, but three new ones.

They go on a journey while sharing experiences along the way.

But one of the two girls got jealous about the new friends.

She ran away because she thought the exclusivity of their friendship has come to an end.

"LEAVE ME ALOOOOOONE!"

"STOP! Let's talk about this!"

The other one resisted to have a talk and decided that they should fight it over.

And then the battle began.

There is no moral in this story. I'm sorry.

19 THINGS LOVE HAS TAUGHT ME SO FAR

I have done the "18 Things Love Has Taught Me" last 2012, found on the notes of my facebook account. Well, this shall be a traditional Valentine's day project i am keeping by myself. If you're wondering, the number goes parallely with my age. And because it is now 2013, i might as well make 19 Things Love Has Taught Me. I've been in deep thoughts of what should I write with 19 new number bullets and I have come to think of why not add just another one because deep down in my heart, I am not adept when it comes to this.

I will just repost the 18 things love has taught me and spill the new thing love has taught me on the 19th. Here it goes. ....

Disclaimer: These aren't absolutes, laws or principles. What's right for me may not be right for you. These weren't just all plain personal experiences but also something that i have pondered upon people around me.

1. FIRST LOVE NEVER DIES. You may consider someone, may it be your ex-girlfriend/boyfriend or your crush when you were at gradeschool, as your first love. As for me, Jesus is my first love. We love because He first loved us. He isn't choosy to whom He will give His love and i tell you, it's only His love that is Unfailing. If God wasnt loving, the universe would be loveless. Because, really, God is Love.

2. Love is like taking a drug. In my three years in the Pharmacy course, I've encountered a lot of professors wherein they can associate lessons to love. Amazing as it was, I have these tattooed on my mind.. When you love, it is like taking a drug: first, you have to take it and it has to pass through certain barriers to be able to do what it is supposed to and it takes time to take an effect and reach its expected outcome. Thus, it needs to consider those adverse reaction and side effects it could probably do.

3. Different dosages. Each person you love are like different dosage forms. You also love differently just as according to dosage strengths, it may be low dose or high dose. What matters most is what is it that fits for you.

4. Cry if you have to. This world is full of heartbreak-inducing people. You are not weak when you cry. The moment you stop crying, you'll realize that it's worth it! Then, you'll laugh it all up.

5. There is no such thing as CTRL. You may control things: your wealth, your health, your schedule but you can't control love and yes, people, no can do. The best thing you can do is enter and scroll with life. Use backspace if you need to.

6. Heart abuse. Each human body comprises 206 bones but only 1 (one) heart. So if you're breaking someone's heart, try to consider breaking first one of the bones of that person. I guess, it hurts less.

7. People change. The only constant thing in this planet is change. Yes, people do change, not abruptly because it really needs time. But still (back to number 5), you can't force a person to change. It's a matter of showing someone a deep understanding of why is she/he like this or like that and in the process, you'll see and discover what that person can actually be. Remember that if we don't change, we don't grow. If we don't grow, we aren't really living.

8. Bs in Bitterness. If only this course exists, maybe half of the population were enrolled or better yet many would be topnotchers, considering myself. Badnews: The world doesn't care

9. Love is like playing cards. We serve as player and each of us must accept the cards life deals on us. Once they are on our hands, ourself alone must decide how to play the cards in order to win the game. Did i mention about some player that cheats? Beware.

10. Love is a mystery. Since I was in gradeschool, I'm fond of reading books about mysteries. As you turn the pages of the book, you're a kind of excited about something that you just can't bring down the book or close it, not until you finished reading it. Love is somewhat a kind of a secret that is yet to be revealed, it doesn't come just out of the blue. And once it has been unwrap, I swear it'll be a mystery anyone should seek for. The truth is in your hands. It is best when you yourself discover about it, not merely on stories that others are spicing up for you.

11. Heartbreak formula. It is from one of the published sorts of The Rock, my college student's publication. Though we have a lot of formula that is needed to be memorized at school, there is this something that i couldn't just forget eventhough i just encountered it on one-read. Length of relationship multiplied by the amount of tears divided by the happy moments equals time a person needs to overcome such heartbreak. :)

12. Letters are the sweetest. This may be old-school for some but i guess it is worth-reading than those lengthened text messages the world of communication now offers, considering it has been unlimited. haha! I just want to experience the snailmail the old people have had plus the encounter to the beautiful handwriting of the person who wrote that letter. And another plus, the A for Effort. I just wanted it that way, got a problem with that?

13. Love knows no plagiarism. It doesn't come with what you see in movies, people. Well, if that's the way how you make your relationship work, I can probably say that it wouldn't work. Because first and foremost, it isn't your story. Just like in movies, if people already knew about how that will end, they would go home disappointed, wasting their money. Your story is your own, consider it to be somewhat worth-watching!

14. Past is past. The more anger you have carried in your heart from the past, the less capable you are of loving in the present. The word "move on" now enters.

15. Love is like a business. Invest on moments for it will be soon cherished memories. It may soon make you rich, not for the money but for the superb experience, sadness or happiness all over.

16. Love is a game. Some may lose, some may win. Well as what Barbara De Angelis said, "You never lose by loving. You always lose by holding back"

17. (1 Corinthinas 13: 1-7) Love is patient, love is kind. It does not envy, it does not boast, it is not proud. It is not rude, it is not self-seeking, it is not easily angered, it keeps norecord of wrongs. Love does not delight in evil but rejoices with the truth. It always protects, always trusts, always hopes, always perseveres.

18. The best love story is your story. . My story is yet to be told. Wish me all love in the world!

19. Do not date anyone if you don't have any intention of marrying him/her. I do sound like an expert in love, right? But NO, i concede, so put your eyebrows down please. Who wouldn't find it amazing,to the power of infinity, if someone will just love you immensely?. ... The future is forever, so why waste time with someone whom you knew from the very first start that you wouldn't end up with, prior to the future starts to unconceal.

Happy Heart's Day!

Me & the Trinity

Have you ever felt so alone or been into times when there's no one else a cote de (beside) you? No, do not think about this is as a sad post about anything but rather, scratch in your mind that is a simple reflection about what life is showing me. I've been busy these past few weeks due to Midterm exams (Goodness Gracious! Last Midterm exam of my life!!) and modular exams. Wait, how many exams/tests did I ever passed through and PASSED, too?

Elementary: 4 grading periods x 6 yrs = 24
High School: 4 grading periods x 4 yrs = 16
College: 3 terms x 4 yrs = 11 (soon to be 12 so FINAAALS, TAKE IT SLOW)
Total: 52

Can you imagine that??? 52 examinations plus kindergarten playschool tests, laboratory examinations and a whole lot more! WHO CAN EVER SURVIVED THOSE WITHOUT THE GRACE OF GOD? Life has many examinations for us to answer and to go over. I know, i really know... this is inevitable and perhaps, unending.  But but but, (I don't know if it is just me) have you also thought of how God has been working all throughout our lives? (Shout out to all students there, like me)

Heart disease? Liver problems? Kidney failure? Name all the diseases discussed in our Clinical Pharmacy subject and get depressed. How much more if you're the one suffering with those? I am always amazed when I hear testimonies of people who has survived from chronic diseases because Jesus miraculously healed them. Some of you seem to find it the "usual" undertakings in life but NOOOOOO,  that was the REAL test in life. And by real, I mean physically. Some survives, many do not. By real, I also mean, spiritually. I am currently reading the bible, down to the book of Job and maaaaan, I am terrified of what happened in his life and flabbergasted with this man's simple Faith in Jesus. Read to see for yourself.

Again, some survives, others do not. (ANAK NG GUIA NAKASURVIVE SA PHARMA!!)

We all have different examinations in life and often times, we face those ALONE, no family or friends a tour de (around) but only ALONE with Jesus. I believe that i don't need further explanation with being alone yet with God. Let us face all of the examinations of our life putting our nose in the grindstone with great confidence in God.

Note that in some examinations, surprises are present, too!

I won a free meal at Pepperlunch today!
Je ne suis pas Chinoise but Kung Hei Fat Choi to me!  :)
