Me & the Trinity

Have you ever felt so alone or been into times when there's no one else a cote de (beside) you? No, do not think about this is as a sad post about anything but rather, scratch in your mind that is a simple reflection about what life is showing me. I've been busy these past few weeks due to Midterm exams (Goodness Gracious! Last Midterm exam of my life!!) and modular exams. Wait, how many exams/tests did I ever passed through and PASSED, too?

Elementary: 4 grading periods x 6 yrs = 24
High School: 4 grading periods x 4 yrs = 16
College: 3 terms x 4 yrs = 11 (soon to be 12 so FINAAALS, TAKE IT SLOW)
Total: 52

Can you imagine that??? 52 examinations plus kindergarten playschool tests, laboratory examinations and a whole lot more! WHO CAN EVER SURVIVED THOSE WITHOUT THE GRACE OF GOD? Life has many examinations for us to answer and to go over. I know, i really know... this is inevitable and perhaps, unending.  But but but, (I don't know if it is just me) have you also thought of how God has been working all throughout our lives? (Shout out to all students there, like me)

Heart disease? Liver problems? Kidney failure? Name all the diseases discussed in our Clinical Pharmacy subject and get depressed. How much more if you're the one suffering with those? I am always amazed when I hear testimonies of people who has survived from chronic diseases because Jesus miraculously healed them. Some of you seem to find it the "usual" undertakings in life but NOOOOOO,  that was the REAL test in life. And by real, I mean physically. Some survives, many do not. By real, I also mean, spiritually. I am currently reading the bible, down to the book of Job and maaaaan, I am terrified of what happened in his life and flabbergasted with this man's simple Faith in Jesus. Read to see for yourself.

Again, some survives, others do not. (ANAK NG GUIA NAKASURVIVE SA PHARMA!!)

We all have different examinations in life and often times, we face those ALONE, no family or friends a tour de (around) but only ALONE with Jesus. I believe that i don't need further explanation with being alone yet with God. Let us face all of the examinations of our life putting our nose in the grindstone with great confidence in God.

Note that in some examinations, surprises are present, too!

I won a free meal at Pepperlunch today!

The B-ginning

First of all, I wanna Thank our Lord for making this par-teeeyy possible and successful.

"2013: This year's gonna be our year". Our section/block (BsPharmacy 4B, also self-proclaimed as Vitamin B Complex) haven't had a Christmas Party last year because of inevitable errands and unwanted schedules. So for a change, and for not being glum, we celebrated THE NEW BEGINNING PARTY! This is the best way to welcome the year 2013 as we are all proclaiming that by God's grace... WE WILL ALL PASS THE BOARD EXAM.

We had our Party last Friday (January 11, 2013). As planned, we reckon that friday because 1) we don't have a class and 2) that friday is the first friday of our year. (BOOM)

OBJECTIVES: Our activities was surely not only FUN but also EDUCATIONAL. Hence, it was all related to Pharmacy. It's in our blood already. Hihihihi

DATA:

[1] PharmBanner Contest
-The artistic side of our class was boosted in this activity. The making of banners and presentation with cheers of each team. Divided in 3 majestic team, with made-up names: CUTIES, ALIPIN & THE SMASHING BITCHES.

[2] MorPharm
-Sorry for all whose faces were Morphed. Do not worry, you will not know.. not unless some of us will share it to you. Hahahaha This activity was to let all teams unravel the identity of the person in its morph form.

[3] PharmHenyo
-This party is not a plain party like any other. Again, aside from having fun, IT WAS ALSO EDUCATIONAL. It is all about either generic name or brand name from different categories of antihypertensives, diuretics and antidiabetics. See? A glimpse for the preparation for the board exams.

[4] Hygeia Went To The Garden Oases
-By far, the best game I could say. It is a variation of maria went to the market game but because we are not in the market, we made a twist by wearing of laboratory outfit while running and puffing balloons around the garden.

After all the games we had, we are all exhausted and hungry and at the same time, itching to jump off the pool to swim. So, we ate our early dinner. After which, the awarding of sash (which simply awards you the so-called name you have in the classroom) in each and everyone (except the officers) and also, *drum roll, please* the exchanging of gifts.

MOA for exchange gifts: We are all instructed to write only the name of the receiver of the gift and write three adjectives that describes us, the giver. It is for us to know how deep we've known our classmates and by all means, for the char. Hahahahaha. And also, the gift you've given is not on the wishlist of the person but anything that you want to give to her/him from the bottom of your heart. I've wrote: FRIENDLY, PRETTY AND BUSINESS-SAVVY on my wrap. Thank you so much for agreeing. Lol

CONCLUSION: B THE BEST. HECK YEAH, 2013.
